I’m Bombing this week…

This week the plan is to go along and see the Mighty Bombers (hereafter referred to as “we” and “us” until about this time next week) uttterly destroy the no-hoper-jokes of the Fremantle Dockers at the Telstra Dome this Sunday.

The reason for choosing this game? Well, when i was in the Smith St Salvos last week, i managed to pick up a James Hird Essendon cap and Scarf (the pictures of me in it all will have to wait til my next post). Unlike the Kangaroos merch i picked up at the same time, they weren’t insanely cheap, so you Bombers are on notice that my expectations have gone up accordingly.

If you’re an Essendon fan and you are interested in taking me to the game, then you’ll need to call into Lindy’s 774 Drive show tomorrow (it’s Thursday, not the usual Friday this week due to Easter). It should be on at about quarter to five, but you might want to listen in earlier to be on the safe side.

So, Bombers fans convince me that this is the team for me… (and the rest of you can tell me why not?)
